Shasti Pooja Rudra Abhishek For Subramanya

Shasti Pooja Performed by Guruji on Sep 22 2020.

It is the cherished dream of every couple to get children and thereby add meaning to their family life. In this process, there could be several hurdles which could work against their wishes. The pangs of disappointment and agony suffered by married people without being able to get children could be rather very much troubling. There are some pujas that can help get children.

Shasti pooja is perhaps one of the most powerful pujas that helps a married woman conceive a child.

If you cannot perform the abhishek at home, we shall arrange to perform the abhishek with prior booking.

Following the puja, we offer flowers at the feet of Lord Subrahmanya. We also distribute prasad to the devotees gathered. Or to the members of the family who do not observe fasting on the day. Some people engaged in Shasti fasting eat this prasad alone in the afternoon and conclude the fast only in the evening. Some people store the prasad till the evening and eat it only in the evening to conclude the fasting after sunset.

All through the puja and all through the day you can chant mantras of Lord Subrahmanya. Shasti vrat can be observed consecutively for six sashtis and this puja is said to bless the ladies with conception immediately after this cycle.

Shasti dates for 2020 can be found here. Our next event is Sep 29 Pradosha Pooja
